Dr. Leslie Aiuto received her B.A. from Cornell University in 1981. She attended Columbia University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences where she received an M.A. in Anthropology. She then went on to obtain her M.D. from New York Medical College. She did her Pediatric residency and a fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at North Shore University Hospital and is board certified in both Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Aiuto was formerly the Director of the Pediatric Continuity Clinic and the Assistant Chief of the Division of General Pediatrics at Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children’s Medical Center at North Shore.
Dr. Aiuto is a happily married mother of two lovely girls and a very bossy cat. In her spare time, she enjoys indulging her passion to perform by acting, singing and dancing in community theater productions.

Dr. Wolfson joined Central Long Island Pediatrics in 2004 and is board certified in pediatrics. He graduated from the Sackler School of Medicine/New York Program. After his pediatric training at Jacobi Medical Center in Bronx, New York, he completed a fellowship year in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Schneider Children’s Hospital in New Hyde Park, New York. Dr. Wolfson worked as a general pediatrician at Plymouth Pediatrics in Plymouth, New Hampshire and then as a neonatal/newborn nursery hospitalist at Roosevelt Hospital in Manhattan before finding his home at Central Long Island Pediatrics.
He is a graduate of Bowdoin College and finished his premedical studies at Columbia University.
When not caring for his amazing patients and families, Dr. Wolfson spends his time with his wife, Patricia, and his two boys, Alexander and Jacob.

Dr. Martin B. Cohen is the most senior member of Huntington Village Pediatrics and has been enthusiastically caring for children in that community for over forty years. In fact, Dr. Cohen feels privileged to be caring for the children of some of his former patients. He can usually be spotted wearing one of his assortment of silly hats or by the tiny toys dangling from his stethescope. He attended college at New York University and went on to receive his medical degree from New York Medical College. He completed his Pediatric Residency training at Meadowbrook Hospital. Dr. Cohen has served on the Huntington Hospital Medical Board and has been an active member of the hospital staff for over thirty years, serving on multiple committees during his tenure. Dr. Cohen has a deep interest in Special Education and sat on The Committee for Special Education in the Harborfields School District for 18 years. Dr. Cohen is a member of the New York Pediatric Society, the Suffolk Pediatric Society and The Suffolk County Medical Society. He resides with his wife Carol in Huntington. Dr. Salvatore J. Caravella is a native Long Islander and has been predominantly educated and trained within the Long Island community. He resides with his wife, Monica, and their three children in the Harborfields school district and is extremely active within the community. Dr. Caravella joined Huntington Village Pediatrics in 1988 after a three year research fellowship at Westchester County Medical Center. During his fellowship, he participated in numerous research endeavors and is well published in the pediatric medical literature. After his arrival in Huntington, his main goal was to modernize the neonatology service at Huntington Hospital which came to fruition in 1994 when full time 24hour/7 day neonatology in-house coverage began at the hospital. Today, he concentrates his efforts to ensure newborn, infant and child health through appropriate nutrition, parental guidance, and promotion of healthy lifestyles and exercise. His other interests include the child with special needs and pediatric neurobiological problems. She completed her Pediatric Residency training at Schneider Children’s Hospital of Long Island Jewish Medical Center. She resides in Centerport with her husband, a Pediatric Emergency Physician at Schneider Children’s Hospital, and her two children. Dr. Meltzer is a member of The Medical Society of the State of New York, The Suffolk County Medical Society, The Suffolk Pediatric Society and is a fellow of The American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Meltzer is committed to educating parents about all aspects pertaining to the health, well-being and safety of their child. Dr. Jason Hitner grew up in Syosset, NY. He attended Cornell University, graduating in 1993. He then went on to attend Medical School at Emory University School of Medicine, graduating in 1997.
Dr. Hitner completed his Internship at New York Hospital and his Residency at Emory University Children’s Hospital, in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a Board Certified member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and Founder of “The Long Island Newborn Wellness Center” located in Babylon.
Dr. Hitner has volunteered in many medical missions abroad, including trips to Tibet, India, Republic of Georgia, and Haiti. He also served as an Olympic Medical Staff Member for the 1996 Atlanta Summer Games.
Currently, Dr. Hitner is the Medical Director of Suffolk County Community College, as well as the Medical Director of Copiage School District. During his free time he enjoys surfing, sailing, and fishing.

Dr. Monica Melamedoff is a board certified pediatrician, and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She has been in private pediatric practice in Nassau County since 1988.
Dr. Melamedoff received her medical degree from the University of Buenos Aires in 1978. As a medical student, working in the outskirts of Buenos Aires, Dr. Melamedoff understood the tremendous challenge involved in taking care of underserved children. She continued her Pediatric training at the Nassau University Medical Center.
In addition to her practice, Dr. Melamedoff is an attending physician at North Shore Hospital at Manhasset, Plainview Hospital, and Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children’s Medical Center. She is a member of Cohen’s voluntary teaching staff as well.
Dr. Melamedoff is a published researcher and has been the recipient of the Top Pediatrician Award by the Consumer Research Council in Washington, DC, and has recieved the American Medical Association’s Physician Recognition Award.

Dr. Amorita Snow was born in New York City and raised in the Bronx. She graduated from City College of New York with a Bachelor’s of Science and studied medicine at the Albany Medical College of Union University. She remained in Albany for her pediatric residency at the Albany Medical University Hospital.
Dr. Snow began her career in Boston, MA, where she practiced for two and half years before moving to Long Island to be close to family. She has been in private practice in Nassau County for the past nineteen years.
Dr. Snow is a member of the Nassau County Pediatric Society, with privileges at Winthrop University Hospital, NSUH – Manhasset and Long Island Jewish – Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children’s Medical Center with special interest in Autism. Dr. Natasha Tellechea joined Dr. Melamedoff ‘s practice in 1998 after completing her pediatric training at Steven and Alexendra Cohen Children’s Medical Center, a division of the Long Island Jewish Medical System. She is a Board Certified Pediatrician, a member in good standing of the Nassau Pediatric Society and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She has admitting privileges at Steven and Alexendra Cohen Children’s Medical Center, North Shore Hospital at Manhasset and Plainview Hospital.

Dr. Gary S. Mirkin grew up in Ohio. He graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.S. in Microbiology in 1979. He then went on to The Ohio State University College of Medicine, which he completed in 3 years, graduating in 1982.
Dr. Mirkin completed his residency in Pediatrics at The New York Hospital-Cornell University Medical Center from 1982-1985. He has been board certified in Pediatrics since 1989 and has a special interest in dealing with infectious disease and autism.
Dr. Mirkin belongs to the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons and has been practicing in Little Neck and Great Neck since 1985. Dr. Mirkin has a special interest in dealing with infectious disease and autism.

Nilufer Clubwala, M.D. received her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1980 from Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. She was awarded Gold Medal for First Position in the Final Professional M.B.B.S. Examination and Gold Medals in Medicine, Surgery and Otolaryngology. She was awarded both the Academic Council Shield and the Distinguished Graduate’s Award in 1980. From 1981-1982 she did her residency in General Medicine and Surgery at the Civil Hospital in Karachi, Pakistan. In 1982 she had a Clinical Attachment to the Department of Pediatrics at the Dudley Road Hospital in Birmingham, United Kingdom. From 1983-1986 Dr. Clubwala was a resident at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center of New York, serving as the Chief Resident during her last year there. She is a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatrics since 1987.
Prior to coming to Monroe Pediatrics in 1993, Dr. Clubwala was a pediatrician with the International Longshoremans Association Clinic and at West Eleventh Street Pediatrics in Manhattan. For three years, she was the Medical Director of the Lutheran Community Services Foster Care Program and a physician in the Pediatric Emergency Room at St. Vincent’s Hospital.
Dr. Clubwala resides in Campbell Hall with her husband, Kaika. She is the proud mother of two beautiful young women, Dena, who attends college in Manhattan and Rashna, who is currently at Stony Brook Medical School. Dr. Clubwala enjoys foreign travel, meditation and hosting her friends from around the globe.

Danielle T. Dziedzic, M.D. earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Hofstra University in 1999. After graduating from Hofstra Univerisity, Dr. Dziedzic worked as a research assistant under Dr. Stephen J. Nicholas at the Nicholas Institute of Sports Medicine and Athletic Trauma in Lenox Hill Hopsital. She has been published in the American Journal of Sports Medicine, Journal of Sports Sciences, Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise and Consultant for Pediatricians.
Dr. Dziedzic lives in New Windsor, NY with her husband, Robert and their three beautiful children, Victoria, Robert Jr, and Gabriella. She played NCAA Division I softball at Hofstra University from 1994-1999 leading them to four conference championships and two NCAA regional appearances. In addition to softball, she enjoys playing ice hockey, cooking and entertaining her family and friends.

Jamee M. Goldstein, D.O. received her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Cornell University: College of Human Ecology in 1995. She received a Graduate Certificate in Premedical Sciences from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1997 and her Doctor of Osteopathy from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania in 2001. Dr. Goldstein completed her residency in pediatrics at The Infants’ and Children’s Hospital of Brooklyn, Maimonides Medical Center, in 2004. She returned home to join Monroe Pediatrics and to work along side her mentor, Dr. Alan Harawitz, in July of 2004. She is board certified and a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Pediatricians.
While in medical school, Dr. Goldstein presented her lecture “Osteopathic Manipulation and Pediatric Sinusitis” at the Professional Rounds of the Department of Pediatrics at Maimonides Medical Center. She also received the International Osteopathic Awareness Award in 2001 from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. In 2005 she was recognized as a “Caring Physician” by the Emergency Department at Arden Hill Hospital in Goshen, New York.
Dr. Goldstein resides in Highland Mills with her husband, Jeff and her adorable sons, Ethan and Spencer. She teaches tap dancing at Terpsichore: the Dancerschool, in the evenings, and enjoys theatre, music and camping.

He completed his pediatric residency at the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital in Valhalla, NY in 2007 and came home to join his father, Dr. Alan Harawitz, at Monroe Pediatrics that July. Dr. Harawitz has served as a mentor and tutor for undergraduates at Brandeis University and is currently a preceptor for students from New York Medical College.

Stacey Kaplan Rosmarin, M.D. graduated with honors from SUNY Binghamton: Harpur College with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 1981. She received her medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania in 1987 and completed an internship and residency in pediatrics at The New York Hospital – Cornell University Medical Center in Manhattan from 1987-1990. With strong family roots in our community, Dr. Rosmarin settled in Monroe and joined our practice in July 1990. She is board certified and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
From 1981-1983, Dr. Rosmarin was a research technician in neuropharmacology at Mount Sinai Medical Center under the supervision of Dr. M.H.VanWoert and Dr. H.C. Hwang. She currently serves as a preceptor for first year medical students from New York Medical College and for high school students who participate in the Orange-Ulster BOCES New Visions Program.
Dr. Rosmarin lives in Monroe with her husband, Scott, and their youngest child, Jake, who is an honor student at Monroe-Woodbury High School. Her older daughter, Rachel, is pursuing a dual major in Biology and Health Science, Society and Policy at Brandeis University near Boston. Younger daughter, Jaclyn, is studying Occupational Therapy at Quinnipiac University in Connecticut.
